Privacy Policy
What Acutealypse collects, why, and what it never does with it. Short version: I’m an artist, not a data broker.
Last updated: September 28, 2026
The short version: I collect the bare minimum needed to send you your order and answer your messages. I never sell your information, and I never see your full card number.
1Who I am
Acutealypse is a small, one-artist shop in Colorado. When this policy says “I,” “me,” or “the shop,” that is who it means. This policy covers acutealypse.com and any order placed through it.
2What I collect
Things you hand me directly:
- Your name, email address, and shipping address when you place an order
- Whatever you write in the contact form: your name, email, topic, and message
- Order details, meaning what you bought, when, and for how much
Things collected automatically as you browse:
- Basic technical information your browser sends, like device type, browser, and approximate region
- Which pages you visited and roughly how you found the site
I do not collect sensitive categories of personal information, and I have no interest in doing so.
3How I use it
- To pack, ship, and follow up on your order
- To answer your message when you reach out
- To understand which pages people actually read, so the site keeps getting better
- To meet tax and record-keeping obligations
That is the whole list. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
4Who sees it
A short list of services help run the shop, and each one sees only what it needs to do its job:
- Stripe processes payments. Your card details go straight to Stripe under their own privacy policy.
- Shipping carriers receive your name and address so a parcel can find you.
- Google (Apps Script, Sheets and Gmail) receives contact-form messages so they reach the Acutealypse inbox.
- Hosting and analytics providers keep the site running and count visits.
I may also disclose information if the law genuinely requires it. Otherwise, no.
5Cookies & analytics
This site uses cookies to keep your shopping cart working and to measure traffic in aggregate. Analytics is handled by Google Analytics, connected through the Site Kit plugin. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, though the shopping cart may stop behaving if you do.
6Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number is never transmitted to or stored on this site. Stripe handles that information under their own privacy policy and security standards.
7How long I keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, then deleted. Contact form messages are kept only as long as they are useful, and are deleted once a conversation is clearly finished.
8Your choices
You can ask me to show you what information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it entirely. Email acutealypse.creations@gmail.com and I will take care of it.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy law. Colorado residents, for example, have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to appeal if I refuse a request. I will honor any request I am able to verify, whoever you are and wherever you live.
9Children
There is no minimum age to enjoy a sticker, and I am delighted when young people find this shop. That said, I am not set up to collect personal information from children, so if you are under 13, please have a parent or guardian place the order for you. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given me personal information, email me and I will delete it promptly.
10Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection, and payment data goes directly to Stripe rather than through me. No method of storing or transmitting information online is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what I hold and I keep as little of it as possible.
11Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date at the top. Meaningful changes will be flagged clearly rather than slipped in quietly.
12Contact
Questions about any of this? Email acutealypse.creations@gmail.com or use the contact form. A real person reads every message.
A note from a small shop: this page is written in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, just ask me. I’d rather explain than hide behind fine print.
